Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy-de-Domme France on August 9 1976 the eldest child of four. She was encouraged by her parents, dentist and teacher and both of them were teachers. They encouraged her to pursue her passion for the theatre. This contrasted to an earlier desire to pursue a career as a primateologist since she loved monkeys. There was an immediate rise for her to be an internationally renowned young actress. When she finished her education She was a part of the French show for spotting talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+. She won the Best Young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and started her professional career as an actor. Tautou, who attended the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris as a child and studied there at the age of a child but has sworn off her Catholic childhood. The actress declares herself to be non-Catholic. Alongside her acting profession, she has also pursued modeling. The model was for L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and was dubbed "The Chanel Muse". Recently, at Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival, she displayed a collection of photographs under the heading Superficial. The majority of her photographs concern the spotlight and fame. They also feature an assortment of portraits of herself as well. Audrey Tautou's international popularity and success exploded following her role in the film as Amelie Poulain's lead woman in Le Fabuleux d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie made international waves in the field of box office, and also won numerous awards across the world. Amelie is the most successful french-language film to hit the US. Following the release of this film, Tautou starred in numerous films ranging from British dramas to Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
