Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford (born April 14th 1988) is an American actress, singer as well as a dancer. Early Broadway roles include Wicked Legally Blonde & Hair. The play You Can't Take It With You, she won the Tony Award as Best Featured actress in a Play. Ashford has been seen most recently as Paula Jones in Ryan Murphy FX series American Crime Story Impeachment. This show is based around the National Crisis that saw Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky Linda Tripp at the center of the first impeachment proceeding in America over 100 Years. Ashford was a part of two seasons in the CBS popular comedy B Positive. It was produced by Chuck Lorre with Marco Pennette. It featured Linda lavin, Hector Elizondo, as well as Ben Vereen. Ashford is no stranger to Broadway. Her portrayal of Essie on You Can't Take It with You was a winner of the Tony Drama Desk Awards and Outer Critics Circle Awards.
